Start of Summer Residency 2023 – Online Presentation

We are excited to start the 2023 summer programme of the Creative Residency in Arita after a 2-month hiatus. For the coming three months, artist Dirk van Lieshout and designer Simone Post will stay in Arita to get inspired and work on new ceramics objects. 



Simone Post is an award winning designer who is know for her bright colours and spirit of optimism in her work whilst at the same time addressing important issues through her use of recycled or reused waste products.

Dirk van Lieshout is an artist whose work is inherently connected to the locality of the place of creation or presentation which is also why he has participated in a wide range of residencies across the world.
