Elisa Strinna

Elisa Strinna (b. 1982, Padua) is an Italian multimedia artist based in the Netherlands. Her work unfolds through environmental and multisensory installations in which film, sculpture, light, and sound converge. Through sculpture, she approaches art-making as a form of “world-making”: a practice for studying, revealing, and imagining systems of resilience and interconnection with the more-than-human. Through film, her practice moves between documentary observation and science fiction, which she approaches as a method for constructing and deconstructing speculative futures grounded in existing realities and material conditions.
